Electricity

Electricity is a general term that describes electrical phenomena, i.e. phenomena caused as a result of the presence and flow of electric charge. Many everyday phenomena, such as lightning and static electricity are electric. Less-known concepts, such as electric field and electromagnetic induction, fall into the same category.

MAGNETISM

The term magnetism characterizes the phenomenon in which some materials, so-called magnets, exert pulling or repulsive forces on other materials, due to the movement of electrical charges, as well as all the phenomena produced by this property, which are examined by a special part of the physics similarly called Magnetism.

  • Electricity together with magnetism are the single expression of electromagnetism
  • The change in the magnetic field produces electric current – in other words magnetism becomes electricity
  • Electric current produces a magnetic field – in other words electricity becomes magnetism. So the coils when leaked by electric current are magnetized
